With a win at Alabama, odds for Ole Miss to win the national championship were cut in half, from 20-to-1 to 10-to-1. LSU and Georgia, which handily beat Auburn and South Carolina, respectively, both saw their prices adjusted from 20-to-1 a week ago to 12-to-1 this week. Alabama’s odds were lengthened from 8-to-1 to 12-to-1.

A few other moves of note:

– Ohio State remains the favorite, but after struggling offensively in a 20-13 win over Northern Illinois, the Buckeyes’ price was lengthened from 8-to-5 (+160) to 7-to-4 (+175).

– After losing at home to Stanford, USC moved down the oddsboard, its price adjusted from 12-to-1 to 25-to-1.

– Notre Dame’s odds to win the national title were raised from 12-to-1 to 40-to-1 a week ago, due to the season-ending injury to Malik Zaire. But with an impressive victory at home over Georgia Tech – and a fine performance from backup QB DeShone Kizer – the Irish are regaining the respect of oddsmakers, who tightened ND’s odds to 25-to-1.
