According to Brian Holloway, North Carolina A&T's Associate Athletics Director/Communications, the bus wasn't towed because of an overly eager parking enforcement officer. The bus was towed due to mechanical issues.
"The upside of still playing doubleheaders is that the men were playing in town as well," Holloway said in an email to Sporting News. "The women took the men's bus home because the men were already scheduled to fly back."
