With last night's 98-90 win, the Magic completed a run of wins over the Clippers, Nets and Pelicans, all teams with playoff or title ambitions. Orlando is expected to end the season exactly where they ended last year -- in the lottery.
That may still be the case, but the young talent they've gathered over the years is impressive. Wednesday, Nikola Vucevic put together a 30-point, 21-rebound against the frontcourt of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan. Griffin is considered one of the NBA's best power forwards and Jordan was promoted as a Defensive Player of the Year by his coach, yet Vucevic, a third-year player, put up huge numbers against the pair.
