After the game, Young commented that his “swag rubbed off on everybody.”
That’s confidence. But that’s not the end of it.
During a postgame interview, he was asked about his shooting ability, and how it compared to some of the all-time greats.
Now, in Swaggy P’s defense, his .377 career 3-point percentage is better than Bird’s .376, but just barely. He has made 585 of the 1,551 3-pointers he has attempted during his nine-year career. Bird made 649 of the 1,727 3-pointers he attempted over the course of his 13-year career.
As for the rest of his top five, Allen, Miller, Curry and Thompson all boast career 3-point percentages higher than Young’s, which makes his list very bizarre.
But if there’s anything we know about Nick Young, it’s that he’s pretty bizarre.
