Nhl Trade Deadline Jackets Umberger Would Welcome Old Foe Kesler

The (Vancouver) Province reported Monday that Kesler would turn down a deal to the Jackets, but the reasons weren’t made clear. The Province, though, noted that Kesler and Umberger didn’t get along when they were teammates for a season at Ohio State. The animosity, according to the report, continued well after the two reached the NHL.
