NFL Week 10 weather updates
Forecasts courtesy for Kevin Roth at RotoGrinders.
Texans @ Browns. Sustained winds of 25 mph with stronger gusts, perhaps up to 50 mph, will impact deep passes and kicks (longer FGs won’t even be attempted). Bump down to the passing attack of both teams, and expect more run-centric game plans. This game looks almost exactly as windy as the Week 8 game between the Browns and Raiders that saw 233 total yards passing and 22 total points. I would recommend fading the passing game and kickers and concentrating on D/STs and RBs here.
Jaguars @ Packers. The forecast here looks almost exactly the same as in Cleveland except we can add in some light snow/flurries, too. Fortunately, I think the more significant snow will be clear by kickoff, but mostly it’s the high wind that’s a problem. Sustain winds of 25 mph with gusts around 50 mph are in play. I’m not saying you bench Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, but the passing games in general will struggle, and kickers are a definite bench.
Bengals @ Steelers. Rain is looking less likely than earlier in the week, but we’re still dealing with 15-20-mph winds. That will impact to a few deep throws and long field-goal attempts.
