Nine players with first-round grades from Optimum Scouting still remain on the list of best players available. Plus, solid quarterback prospects like Mason Rudolph, Kyle Lauletta and Mike White are still on the board as Day 2 of the draft arrives.

With those players in mind, here is our best shot at a mock draft for Rounds 2 and 3, which will take place Friday night.

NFL Mock Draft 2018: Round 2

  1. Cleveland Browns: Connor Williams, OT, Texas

Our top-ranked offensive tackle, Williams could become Joe Thomas’ replacement with the Browns’ top second-round pick.

  1. New York Giants: James Daniels, C, Iowa

The Giants need more offensive line help, and Daniels could start right away at center and fill a major need for their offensive line.

  1. Cleveland Browns: Harold Landry, OLB, Boston College

Landry has fallen in the draft due to medical reasons, but if the Browns are OK with his injury past, they could get the second best pass-rusher in the draft.

  1. Indianapolis Colts: Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa

The Colts have some depth at cornerback, but they are missing a standout. GM Chris Ballard advocated for a similar talent (Marcus Peters) when he was in Kansas City.

  1. Indianapolis Colts: Ronald Jones, RB, USC

Jones has many fans in the NFL, and the Colts are one of them. They could prefer him over Derrius Guice.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Derrius Guice, RB, LSU

The Bucs would have taken Saquon Barkley had he fallen after the second pick, but they can get the draft’s second best running back far later than expected.

  1. Chicago Bears: Joseph Noteboom, OT, TCU

Don’t be surprised if Noteboom goes this early. Some NFL teams really like the TCU offensive tackle.

  1. Denver Broncos: Will Hernandez, G, UTEP

The Broncos covet Hernandez and might trade up in order to get him. He’s a plug-and-play offensive guard.

  1. Oakland Raiders: Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado

The Raiders need cornerback help, and Oliver has first-round grades from teams in the NFL. A team might need to trade up in order to secure him.

  1. Miami Dolphins: Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State

The Dolphins are desperate for tight end help, and Goedert is their favorite at the position in this class. They might move up to get him.

NFL DRAFT GRADES:Winners and losers of Round 1

  1. New England Patriots: Justin Reid, S, Stanford

Valuing versatility in their defensive backs, the Patriots can make a luxury pick in Reid and have a nickel corner.

  1. Washington Redskins: Donte Jackson, CB, LSU

Jackson is a fast player with adequate length, and the Redskins want to add depth to their secondary. Jackson carries high grades from NFL teams.

  1. Green Bay Packers: Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan

Green Bay doesn’t like to pass on offensive tackles it can develop, and Okorafor has left tackle upside. The Packers can take their time with him.

  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Malik Jefferson, OLB, Texas

Cincinnati is always looking to add linebackers, and Jefferson, a former five-star recruit, has the upside to man multiple LB spots for a long time.

  1. Arizona Cardinals: DJ Chark, WR, LSU

After losing John Brown in free agency, the Cardinals need another quick-twitch, vertically explosive receiver. Chark didn’t get a chance to shine at LSU.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers: Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State

The Chargers passed on Josh Rosen and Lamar Jackson in the first round, and they can get the quarterback they covet here.

  1. Indianapolis Colts: Kemoko Turay, OLB, Rutgers

The Colts will likely look at defense (and maybe receiver) throughout the rest of the NFL Draft, and Turay is the type of explosive edge rusher this team needs.

  1. Dallas Cowboys: Courland Sutton, WR, SMU

After considering Sutton in the first round, the Cowboys can still land their top receiver. The could move up a few spots to get him if they feel they need to do so.

  1. Detroit Lions: Da’Shawn Hand, DT, Alabama

After drafting Alabama defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson a few years ago, the Lions go back to the well and draft a different, more versatile Crimson Tide defensive lineman.

  1. Philadelphia Eagles: Brian O’Neill, OT, Pittsburgh

Philadelphia needs to start planning for life after Jason Peters, and O’Neill could be a swing tackle as a rookie before becoming the left or right tackle along with Lane Johnson.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Carlton Davis, CB, Auburn

The Bucs want to add length to their secondary, and Davis can provide that. Drafting him pushes Brent Grimes inside, where he’s more valuable.

  1. Kansas City Chiefs: Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia

The Chiefs will consider defensive tackle here, but instead, they’ll likely take Carter, who fits their defense well and can take over for Tamba Hali.

  1. Carolina Panthers: Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon

Carolina passed on offensive line in the first round, and it can get the tackle/guard versatile Crosby this late in the second. He’s a plug-and-play left guard or left tackle starter.

  1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Orlando Brown, OT, Oklahoma

The Bucs are one of a few teams that value size at offensive tackle, and Brown certainly has that. He can be the team’s swing tackle before eventually taking over for Demar Dotson.

  1. Tennessee Titans: Josh Sweat, OLB, Florida State

The Titans covet Sweat, one of their highest rated outside linebackers. Don’t be surprised if they move up to get him.

  1. Atlanta Falcons: Braden Smith, G, Auburn

The Falcons looked at offensive linemen in Round 1 but couldn’t pass on Calvin Ridley. Smith is a fringe first-round talent they’d be happy to scoop up here.

  1. San Francisco 49ers: Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama

With the 49ers looking to continue to retool their defense, Harrison is a forceful safety who was a leader at Alabama for three years. He could bring that leadership to San Francisco.

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia

Pittsburgh wants to add a running back on Day 2 to supplement (and maybe replace) Le’Veon Bell. Chubb is an explosive rusher.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M

Jacksonville is looking to add a feature receiver, and Kirk is one the Jags like. He’d be an interior or outside receiver in Jacksonville.

  1. Minnesota Vikings: Austin Corbett, G, Nevada

The Vikings would love to move up for Corbett, who they feel can fit immediately in a starting role.

  1. New England Patriots: Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond

The Patriots want to find a quarterback to consider as a potential heir apparent to Tom Brady. Lauletta reminds many of Jimmy Garoppolo.

  1. Cleveland Browns: BJ Hill, DT, N.C. State

The Browns want to add more defensive line depth, and Hill could fit at either defensive tackle spot for Cleveland in 2018.

  15. Pittsburgh Steelers: Ian Thomas, TE, Indiana

  17. Dallas Cowboys: PJ Hall, DT, Sam Hosuton State

  18. Detroit Lions: Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan

  19. Baltimore Ravens: Dante Pettis, WR, Washington

  20. Los Angeles Chargers: Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, OLB, Oklahoma

  21. Carolina Panthers: Isaac Yiadom, CB, Boston College

  22. Kansas City Chiefs: Josey Jewell, LB Iowa
