With the NFL Combine in the rear-view mirror, the league is full-speed ahead to the 2022 NFL Draft, live from Vegas, baby. For the second year in a row, the Jaguars have the No. 1 overall selection. Their decision may not be as clear as it was in 2021, though, when they selected quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the top pick.

This year, there are 262 total selections, making for the most picks ever in a single NFL Draft, thanks in large part to teams’ compliance with 2020 Resolution JC-2A: The rule awards third-round picks to teams who develop minority head coaches and executives who are hired elsewhere.

This year, the name of the game is double-dipping: The Eagles, Lions, Jets, Giants, Packers, Saints and Chiefs each have two first-round picks in what’s shaping up to be a deep draft, if not a star-studded one.

The Jaguars and Chiefs are both tied with the most draft picks with 12 apiece, while the Dolphins and Raiders hold just five piece each.

Below, you’ll find the complete round-by-round pick order, as well as a list of picks by team.

NFL Draft order by round 2022

In total, there are 262 picks in this year’s NFL Draft, with free agency compensatory picks attached to the back of Rounds 3 through 7.

Compensatory picks are awarded to teams who lose free agents the prior offseason and satisfy the NFL’s unknown formula.

In addition to the compensatory picks, teams from which minority head coaches and front-office executives are hired are awarded picks in compliance with the NFL’s 2020 Resolution JC-2A. These picks sit at the end of Round 3, following free agency compensatory picks, and have no bearing on the total compensatory picks.
