Kennedy, an eight-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro selection, spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the Seahawks, who have retired his No. 96 jersey. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2012.

While the 1992 NFL Defensive Player of the Year will be remembered by most for his dominance on the field, it’s obvious those who knew him personally will remember him for much more.
