Expected to be among the worst teams in the league at the beginning of the season, the Jaguars have swiftly dismissed suggestions of tanking by upsetting the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 and only losing to a late field goal against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. The Dolphins, too, lost by three points on Sunday, falling 31-28 at home to the Buffalo Bills and slipping to 0-2 for the season.

Week 3’s other two primetime games see the New Orleans Saints welcome the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football, before a marquee AFC matchup pits the Baltimore Ravens against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

The Packers, Ravens and Chiefs all improved to 2-0 in Week 2, with Green Bay becoming only the fourth team in league history to score at least 80 points and register at least 1,000 yards of total offense after thrashing the Detroit Lions 42-21 a week after winning 43-34 on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Ravens scored over 30 points for the second consecutive week as they won 33-16 in Houston against the Texans even though reigning MVP Lamar Jackson didn’t contribute to multiple touchdowns for the first time in nine games, while the Chiefs needed overtime to defeat the 23-20 in Los Angeles thanks to a 58-yard field goal from Harrison Butker.

The afternoon slate of Week 3 games features a series of intriguing matchups, beginning with the Bills hosting the Los Angeles Rams and the Pittsburgh Steelers taking on the Texans. The Bills, Rams and Steelers all arrive in Week 3 on the back of two straight wins, while the Texans could slip to 0-3 with a loss in Pittsburgh.

Like the Texans, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Cincinnati Bengals will be desperate to avoid a third consecutive loss when they meet in Philadelphia. Having relinquished a 17-0 lead against Washington in Week 1, the Eagles lost 37-19 at home to the Rams in Week 2, while the Bengals slipped to a 35-30 loss against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday Night Football.

Meanwhile, in the late afternoon games, the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks will both look to improve to 3-0 atop the NFC West when they host the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys respectively, while Tom Brady will be looking for his first road win in a Tampa Bay uniform when the Buccaneers travel to Denver with the Bucs looking to improve to 2-1 and the Broncos desperate to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of Week 3.
