Owners were informed of the change this week at committee meetings in Houston, according to The Athletic, which cited ownership sources. The fantasy football numbers do not lie, and the eye test of him dashing everywhere confirm that....

The committee’s recommendation Tuesday afternoon still may not be enough to sway owners like Cowboys owner Jerry Jones from supporting the proposal from Rams owner Stan Kroenke. League owners will have to decide between Kroenke’s proposal in the L.A. suburb of Inglewood or the Chargers-Raiders proposal in Carson. Kroenke has said he will be open to having either the Chargers or Raiders as a stadium partner, but would share only football-related revenue with the hypothetical partner....

Now, NFL Twitter wondered, if only coach Bill O’Brien had a top-tier receiver to pair with him. Alas, O’Brien traded that receiver — DeAndre Hopkins — and a fourth-round pick to the Cardinals in March for running back David Johnson and a couple of draft choices. It was a move that earned scorn from pretty much everyone who understands and/or watches football.
