The Japanese wrestling promotion re-started its operations on June 15 with the New Japan Cup, its annual tournament to determine the next challenger for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the top title in the company. Tetsuya Naito holds both the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championships and the winner of the New Japan Cup will face the champ for both titles.
