On Tuesday, a letter began circulating on social media which showed the Fargo Public Schools district in Fargo, North Dakota, offering Florida teachers a more welcoming alternative. Fargo is the largest city in North Dakota by population, and the district sending the letter is the third-largest in the state, with roughly 11,300 students. “You don’t know us, so we’ll start with this important statement,” the letter, addressed to teachers in Florida, began....

The Korean Central News Agency said Thursday that the “SLBM Pukguksong-3” weapon was tested successfully in Wonsan Bay off the east coast of the country, the Yonhap news agency reported. “The test-firing scientifically and technically confirmed the key tactical and technical indexes of the newly-designed ballistic missile and had no adverse impact on the security of neighboring countries,” the KCNA said. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff announced late Tuesday the launch of what it described as two short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) that flew up to 280 miles east off North Korea’s west coast, reaching a maximum altitude of 23 feet at a top speed of nearly Mach 6.9, or nearly seven times the speed of sound. The launch was the fourth of its kind in less than two weeks, marking a dramatic increase in the pace of North Korea’s weapons testing just as its two top foes began training together despite ongoing denuclearization talks....
